Have you ever tried cleaning a spot on your carpet or rug only to make it worse?

Using
the wrong product or the wrong technique can actually damage your
carpet or rug. Follow these simple instructions for best results.
Please keep in mind that some spots require professional care.

STEP 1: Cover spill with WHITE napkin or paper towels. DO NOT use colored paper! It might transfer onto the carpet. Be sure to use a THICK stack to absorb as much of the spot as possible

STEP 2: Blot by stepping on stack of towels.
REPEAT THIS PROCESS UNTIL NO TRANSFER TAKES PLACE. DO NOT RUB!!!

STEP 3: Apply Spotting Agent. Warning:
Do not use over the counter spot removers! They can leave a sticky
residue that attracts soil and may discolor your textiles.. Instead,
call us to find out what spotters are recommended.

STEP 4: REPEAT Steps 1 and 2.
If the spot does not come out, do NOT attempt any further action, as
you may set the spot and or damage your textiles. Instead, give us a
call.

Do not over-wet the spot. Keep blotting until dry to the touch. You may then repeat all steps.

Fact # 1: Each day I pull pounds of sandy soil out of the base of your neighbors’ carpets. It is in yours too. Spread the yarns apart and look deep. This sand is scratching and dulling your carpet. It is grinding your expensive yarns down into those worthless fibers that fill up your vacuum bag. Every moment you wait, your carpet wears out faster.

Fact # 2: While you are down there, rub your hand on your traffic lanes. How do they feel? Oily residues from the street and air are drying to your carpet. Slightly sticky, they grab dirt and lock it in. Through a process called “oxidation” soils bond with the carpet, causing color change, and becoming permanently attached. If you wait too long you are throwing away the key to unlocking dirt and oil from traffic lanes. Clean before traffic lanes show up! Once your carpets natural filtering ability gets full, it is time for a thorough cleaning for your health’s sake. Clean every six months and you will breath easier.

Every cleaning method has strengths and weaknesses. I can use many cleaning methods to get the best results depending on your situation. I feel that truck mounted steam cleaning is the best choice, but don’t worry about that. Together we will choose the method that will work best for your needs.
